The size of this art print is 20” x 16”, and it has been printed on a high-quality watercolour textured paper.  This is a limited edition art print run of 50 copies only.  Each print will be numbered and signed.  This print can be placed into a standard sized 16” x 20” frame, which can be purchased from a wide variety of art/craft stores, Indigo, Winners, HomeSense, IKEA, Walmart or easily online.

I was asked by my client to create a special painting, which would remind him of his upbringing in Newfoundland.  I was fortunate to be able to travel to Newfoundland in 2018 for my niece’s wedding, and the beauty of its scenery and overall welcoming friendliness was everything I imagined it to be.  Being asked to create a seascape of his beautiful “Home,” which he holds so dear to his heart, was truly an honour.  While working on this painting, I felt like I was back on the magnificent island, and my memories from my visit helped me create something special for him.  Newfoundland music filled my studio with every brushstroke I made.  He was overjoyed with my finished painting and expressed that he should not be the only one to enjoy this creation, that I should make art prints for others to enjoy.  Newfoundlanders hold their heritage in such a large part of their hearts.
